Welcome to the home of the Iowa City Kickers Soccer Club.  Iowa City Kickers is open to boys and girls in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. Our geographical coverage includes the Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty and surrounding communities.  Our league consists of over 1,400 players and a host of volunteers, including parent and community volunteer coaches and board members.

The Kickers provides playing opportunities for all children regardless of their ability to pay fees.
Donations in any amount are 
appreciated and are used to fund the scholarship program. The Kickers is a 501c(3) corporation so donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Kickers has provided over $13,000 in scholarship funds to players in 2015.

Soccer great Abby Wambach to headline Coe Forum

One of the world's greatest soccer players of all time, Abby Wambach, will be the speaker for the 13th Coe College Contemporary Issues Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Eby Fieldhouse. Wambach is the number one all-time leading scorer in international soccer history with 184 career goals. She is also a leading voice for women's sports as well as for her generation of female soccer players and athletes.

Tickets are available for the event by calling the Coe Box Office at 319-399-8600 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Ticket prices are $10 each.

Wambach is a double Olympic gold medalist (2004 and 2012), FIFA Women's World Cup champion, and the 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year. A six-time winner of the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year award, Wambach has been a regular on the U.S. women's national soccer team since 2003. As a forward, Wambach is the highest all-time goal scorer for the U.S. team and holds the world record for international goals for both female and male soccer players, with a total of 184. In May 2015, she was included in Time Magazine's Time 100 list as one of the most influential people in the world. Wambach has also played for several professional soccer teams during her career.

Established by the late K. Raymond Clark '30, the Contemporary Issues Forum presents the views of distinguished leaders whose work has shaped and altered the course of world events.
