Indoor soccer also known as Futsal is played with a smaller and heavier ball on an indoor playing field with up to five players per team depending on playing field and age group. This eight (8) week league offers competitive play. All sessions will be held at the Robert A. Lee recreation center in downtown Iowa City.
All games per age group will be within a one hour window on Saturdays starting on January 10th through February 28th, 2026. Players must bring shin guards covered by socks. Cleated shoes are not allowed. Soccer shoes are recommended but any non-black soled shoes which do not mark the floor are allowed. Any color shorts are allowed. Each player will receive a shirt that serves as the game jersey. The cost of the program is $115.
Age groups available will be 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, and 7th/8th grade. All teams will be coed. Each grade grouping will be limited to 4 teams due to space limitations of the facility. This program runs on Saturdays only and there are no mid-week practices.

Week One - January 10: Player evaluations will be conducted during this skills/drills session to determine team assignment and balance team formation.
Weeks Two through Six - January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14 - Division play
Weeks Five and Six - February 21, 28 - Tournament play
